1.  Who we are. We are Canine Lore, a sole trader. Our registered/business office is  The Dog House @ Dodsleigh Cottage, Dodsleigh Lane, Dodsleigh, Leigh, Staffordshire, ST10 4SL

3.  How we may contact you. If we have to contact you we will do so by telephone or by writing to you at the email address or postal address you provided to us in your order. 

4.  "Writing" includes emails. When we use the words "writing" or "written" in these terms, this includes emails. 

How we store your personal information 

1.  It shall be the Client’s sole responsibility to ensure the information provided to the Service Provider is current and up to date, the Client agrees to accept any decision made by the Service Provider in the event of the Service Provider not being able to contact the Client as a result of incorrect information held. 

2.  All of the Service Provider’s records will be stored in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal information will be kept private and confidential and solely in relation to the services the Service Provider has been requested to provide. If requested, your data will be made available to the Local Authority for us to comply with any specific local authority conditions. 

How we may use your personal information 

We will use the personal information you provide to us to: 

1.  provide the services; 

2.  process your payment for such services; and 

3.  to inform you about similar Services that we provide, but you may stop receiving these communications at any time by contacting us. 

We may pass your personal information to credit reference agencies.

Where we extend credit to you for the services, we may pass your personal information to credit reference agencies, and they may keep a record of any search that they do. 

We will only give your personal information to third parties where the law either requires or allows us to do so.

Article 5(1)(e) UK GDPR says:

Recital 39 of UK GDPR says:

“…The personal data should be adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for the purposes for which they are processed. This requires, in particular, ensuring that the period for which the personal data are stored is limited to a strict minimum…”

At Canine Lore we shall only keep personal data while we are entered into contract with the client.

Your right to withdraw consent – When we use consent as our lawful basis you have the right to withdraw your consent.

You don’t usually need to pay a fee to exercise your rights. If you make a request, we have one calendar month to respond to you.
